First discovered in 1965 after a flood took out a section of the Union Pacific Railroad where it meets U.S. Highway 97 in Oregon. The original mine was operated by Fred Domaier during his life. The biggs jasper we cut is from a locality near the original mine. All strands are 16". 1/2 strand loose is equivalent to 8" of product.
